Everyone has a purpose

Everyone you have ever known or met had a purpose.
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person..When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.

They may seem like a godsend and they are..They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they just move far away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant..

Thank you everyone, for being a part of my life, whether they were a reason, a season or a lifetime..

and if today is my last day of my life, I would apologize to all the people if I have hurt them and forgive my enemies, I would tell the close people in my life that I love them, look at my memories, the joys, the tears, and the happiness I have experienced good or bad....they were experiences that I will always treasure..

Jacob, Clay and Noah

I should have posted about this last week but I dont have the chance to since I have been busy with some assignments *like usual* ..
I was told by my father in law that Clay had died that morning. Unfortunately the kids were not around when he died. For a dog, at his age, the dog was very old and sick. When Jacob and Noah were home, their father told them what was happening and I heard that Jacob took it so hard. So when Jacob was celebrating his birthday this month, I dug out some of their old photos with Clay which I took in 2007, and make it a card and frame it for him. He was crying when he got it and I felt really guilty but in the end he came running to me and told me that it was the best present because he can keep the memories he had with Clay. Clay was a gentle and loving dog. I know the sadness will pass and the good memories will take it's place. Farewell Clay! You will never be forgotten.

I have finished watching Prison Break 4 - one of the best shows aired in a long time, and it was sad to see it go. I love prison break and the fact that Sara is alive make me to love it more and more but the ending was so sad and you have to watch it yourself if you have not watch it. What I can tell you is the last season of prison break all out with a great last season with many plot of twists and turns.
It is definitely a must see show. My rating is 5 star :)

Dollar Dazzler

The Australian dollar surged above 90 US cents to reach its highest point this week and the strengthening Australian Dollar is weakening the American Dollar. For the first time the Australian Dollar is about to overtake the US Dollar. I have been watching the exchange rate rise from 60cents to 90cents and I can see now that our interest rates are on the way up, our Australian Dollar is only going to get even stronger. The experts say that the Aussie dollar will hit the market $1 for $1 against American dollar by middle of next year.

This makes me happy as I can finally buy some vintage pieces that I always wanted from American e-bay. Just can’t decide whether to start buying now or wait until they announce interest rates for November.

A tsunami warning has been issued for New Zealand and islands in the South Pacific after an earthquake measuring up to 8.1 on the Richter scale, seismologists said. The quake struck 294 kilometres from Santo island at a depth of 35 kilometres, triggering a tsunami alert for islands including Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Tuvalu, New Caledonia, Fiji and Kiribati.

Suddenly I had this reflection 17yrs ago when I was living with my grandma back home in KK, we experienced a minor tremors. Everything was creaking, the whole house was creaking, the pendant light swinging, my whole desk vibrating and the house continued shaking. I can't say how many seconds but to me it was long enough and it was very scary. I just ran out from home with my family members and everyone at my neighbourhood is out and it was like a big disaster has happened. After few minutes,no more earthquake, everyone were back to home again and the road became quiet.

There was always the wonder in the back of my mind. Something bigger coming? The scariest part is, if it happens at night when you were sleeping and suddenly you have to rush out from home while your mind is still unconscious.

We should pray more to God nowadays. I still remember my parents advise to always stay alert; sometimes animals start to make loud noises to let you know that they hear or see something so watch for that if you have cats or dogs they claimed.

Please be careful my dear friend, everywhere you go, all I advice is to have a phone near you., and at night time, please do not sleep without wearing your pyjamas otherwise you dont have time to get out from your house if it does occured.

Stay safe yeah?!

Good morning sunshine

Pancakes! Who doesn’t love pancakes? They are definitely a comfort food for me, but I usually find myself a bit tired of them after a few bites. But I can't resists these pancakes.
I have eaten these pancakes almost exclusively this week–I really can’t get enough of them. I always drizzle them in maple syrup or peanut butter. I did eat a real meal yesterday to appease my husband, but now I’m back to eating pancakes.

Pancakes are delicious as is, but if you are in a more adventurous mood, try adding a cup of fresh blueberries, a handful of chocolate chips, or a diced banana or apple. As an alternative to maple syrup, try a warm fruit as a topping, or sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon- as easy as that.

Oh its yum eee.. (burp is not included)

Sister Day & GF Day

My friend Chela send this to me today and I just re-post it here to wish everyone a happy National Girlfriends Day.

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says

~~"Oh Crap, She's up!"

Sister

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Love the ones who don't just because you can. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Kiss slowly. Forgive quickly. God never said life would be easy. He just promised it would be worth it.

Girlfriend and Sister's Week

I am only as strong as the chocolate I eat, the hair spray I use and the friends I have.

To the cool women that have touched my life.. Here's to you!

National Girlfriends Day What would most of us do without our sisters, confidants and shopping, lunching, and traveling girls? Let's celebrate each other for each other's sake!

TO MY GIRLFRIENDS!

Be Happy! It is good be a woman

The month of Spring

It's September and in my household meaning its spring cleaning time. I know, cleaning is a drag, and I sort of feel like a lazy admitting of not able to really clean my own house but I hate seeing my house in a mess. So today, I started with the "wet rooms" first, with putting the toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet to let it sit while I'm doing everything else then knock down cobwebs and dust and changed the sheets in the bedrooms.
I wish I just had the energy and determination to clean up everyday. My house has four bedrooms and two baths but the other three bedrooms are nothing but my storage and get used throwing stuff in there. Sometimes I feel like Im a kid, used something but never putting it back where it belongs and just leave it right there. I have two baskets of clothes piled up that need to be ironed, and the laundry that needs to get washed and dried.
*sigh* where do I start..

Daylight saving

Daylight saving starts at 2:00am today. It is a way of getting more light out of the day by advancing clock by one hour. The reason Daylight saving time works is because its saves energy due to less artificial light needed during the evening hours, in which clocks are set one hour ahead during the spring, and one hour back to standard time in the autumn.

I don’t care about getting up when it is dark. It is the extra daylight in the evenings that I love :)

P/s: If Malaysia at this time is 5pm, here in Melbourne our time difference will be 3 hours which is now is 8:34pm.

Tsunami

A major 7.9-magnitude earthquake that struck off the Tonga islands region early Friday triggered a tsunami threatening. A tsunami triggered by a strong quake in the South Pacific has killed more than 100 people in several islands. At least 77 people were reported dead in Samoa, more than 25 in American Samoa and at least six in Tonga. Residents and tourists fled to higher ground as whole villages were destroyed. Boats were swept inland and cars and people out to sea.
The 8.3-magnitude quake struck at 1748 GMT on Tuesday, generating 15ft (4.5m) waves in some areas of the islands.

The Samoa islands comprise two separate entities - the nation of Samoa and American Samoa, a US territory. The total population is about 250,000. The prime minister of Samoa, Tuila'epe Sailele Malielegaoi, said the latest death toll there was 77, including four overseas visitors, with 150 more people being treated in hospital. He said there had been extensive damage but that hospitals were coping well and that he was considering aid offers from New Zealand and Australia.
