Another busy day today catching train to the city with my mother in law and had captured some photos around Melbourne city while my mother in law was in the Taxation office.

Kalender suci bangsa Maya atau Tzolkin adalah pintu memasuki pemikiran suatu peradaban sangat maju di dunia Barat sebelum kedatangan bangsa-bangsa Eropah. Para ahli meyakini, astronomi Maya Kuno adalah pencapaian intelektual yang menakjubkan, setara dengan geometri Mesir Kuno dan filosofi Yunani.
Banyak orang percaya, kalender berusia 2.000 tahun itu lebih tepat dibandingkan kalender Gregorian yang digunakan sejak tahun 1582. Bangsa Maya Kuno hidup pada awal milenium pertama sesudah Masehi di wilayah Mesoamerika, yang membentang dari Mexico Utara ke Honduras, di utara Semenanjung Yucatan. Dalam The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness (2004), Carl Johan Calleman PhD menulis, bangsa Maya Kuno sangat dikenali kemampuannya dalam ilmu astronomi dan matematika. Bangsa inilah yang pertama menggunakan angka nol (0).
Bangsa Maya Kuno terobsesi pada waktu. Penghitungan orbitnya sangat tepat dengan selisih hanya satu hari setiap 1.000 tahun.
Sekarang Kalender Maya meramalkan kejadian di dunia pada 21/12/2012!.
Teka apa yang akan terjadi:
Pada manuskrip peninggalan suku Maya yang dikenal menguasai ilmu falak dan sistem penanggalan ini, disebutkan pada tanggal di atas akan muncul gelombang galaksi yang besar sehingga mengakibatkan terhentinya semua kegiatan di muka Bumi ini. Adalah dijelaskan ledakan besar di atmosfer matahari yang dayanya setara dengan 66 juta kali ledakan bom atom Hiroshima akan terjadi menyebabkan lontaran partikel secepat 400 kilometer sesaat.

Kedatangan planet ini tepat tahun dimana penanggalan paling tepat di dunia kalender bangsa Maya juga berakhir yaitu tahun 2012, tepatnya 21 disember 2012.
Evidence from the Bible:
In Matthew, chapter 24 Jesus speaks of tribulation to come three times therein:
"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name" (verse 9).

"For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall" (verse 21).
"But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken, and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory" (verses 29-30).
The language is that of "great tribulation" in verse 21. Only thereafter does He speak of His Second Coming which will occur "immediately after the tribulation of those days" (verses 29 and 30). It is apparent that Jesus Himself stated that His Second Coming would occur after much tribulation, including the "Great Tribulation."
Based on the bible it says that: we will see signs in the sun and stars.
Whether we will actually see it or not, there is one big event pertaining to the earth and our galaxy, the Milky Way, that will occur on December 21, 2012. On that day, our sun will cross the plane of the Milky Way Galaxy, an event that only happens once every 25,800 years. Recent research indicates that the center of the galaxy contains a giant black hole. No written records are round from 25,800 years ago, so we really don't know what the significance of this alignment will be. Other than that, here are no truly unique configurations that will happen in the stars that don't happen basically every year all the way up to 2015. Unless the black hole stirs up our sun in ways we don't anticipate, we are probably safe for the time being unless a visible star explodes into a supernova or something similar (an event which incidentally is long overdue). One theory suggests that when the sun moves into the outstretched hand of the mythical hunter in Orion, that will be the sign. This seems a little obscure to us because that is something you cannot actually see because you can't see the sun and stars at the same time. The Mayans on the other hand based their calendars largely on the Pleiades constellation and a 26,000 year cycle, ending their Calendar at the well-known December 21, 2012 date, after which they believed would be a "new world age" or "new creation."
I think:
Dont know how far this will happen, but if someone ask me if I do believe that God will come for the second time, I will say Yes I do and the bible teaches that, and that because we are heading toward a great catastrophe in our world.

So, this is me:
1. I was born in KK, Sabah and moved to Australia in 2005;
2. I was once lived in convent at the age of 18 ;
3. I wrote a short story in high school and I happened to see it printed in a magazine a few years later. I was also representing my school in debates competition and winning the best debater in 1986-1988;
4. I was once a very active church member in KK and joined the church choir group called Emanuel and still a member of True Jesus Church;
5. I love to play guitar and love to sing (I learnt from my oldest sister she played better) and had composed few christian songs;
6. I seldom drink water but love to drink soft drinks and coffee. My mum keeps on telling me to drink water for my health (which I am still improving);
7. I have had some of the paranormal things happen to me. (my aunt who is not Christian believed that if your wisdom eye is opened, one can see anything and she strongly asked my mum to take me to the Buddha to have my wisdom eye closed but we are Christian and we were not allowed to do that). No wonder when my grandma was sick and I stayed in her house to look after her, I can see the ghosts presents;
8. I used to bite my lips and peel the skin off. That’s my bad habit and still working how to avoid it.
9. I loved cooking and try new recipes but I don’t know how to bake cakes; and
10. I have applied to, been accepted and admitted to law school.

Well, when I talk to my husband that I want to learn sewing; my husband took me to the store. The lady at the store was super friendly and awesome that my hubby bought me my first sewing machine *what a sweetheart* The machine I ended up getting was a floor model, so I got a good deal and not only that they offered me free lesson too and of course, I would take up the offer of the lesson. I was dreading reading the instructions and trying to work everything out but it was all really straight forward and the machine is better than I ever imagined. I was told by the lady who sold me my sewing machine that the motor in it is an industrial strength one. Plus it has a separate motor for winding the bobbin while you sew. Awesome! I had a little play last night and so far I just love it!! I guess a sewing machine is such a new concept to me that everything about it is a novelty really. Actually, I love the needle threader. With my eyes these days that is certainly a big plus! :) I like the way it can be set at 3 different speeds to ensure it doesn't run away from me *giggles* I also love the way the bobbin is top loading with a clear cover so I can see when it is running out and what I loved the most, the machines does buttonholes. My mother or my sisters sews and always has, but I never had much interest until a couple of years ago when I helped my youngest sister veron, cutting her dress pattern but at that time I don’t have a sewing machine (we used my MIL’s sewing machine to sew). I'm trying to learn, right now, with the help of weekend sewing hehe. I was rubbish at sewing at school and everything I made looked grey, but must have a deep need as I keep at it! I wouldn't attempt clothes but like making things like bags from scratch. So now I can sew something for my sisters and my niece and nephew. People need to make something with their hands.
Short and simple. I was babysitting my husband’s nephews, Jacob and Noah last weekend. He lives not far from our place and sometimes during the weekend, he and his little brother often come by to visit. At the same time, we also have Chelsea who came all the way from Bacchus Marsh and stay a little while when his grandpa coming visiting my parents in law.
My mission keeping them busy was easy - I invited them to play with simpsons characters that occupied them for hours. After Chelsea left, we took the kids to the beach nearby, it was a glorious day. The sun was shining and the bay was full of boats. I took some photos of them playing and enjoying their burger while I still got the coffee to have something warm to hold in, my otherwise frozen palms. Although sunny and bright in Melbourne the weather is still cold. August is the last month of winter. I’m not complaining but still prefer the comforts of my cozy room with the room heater, the day looks lovely. And as long as I am not getting out of ‘the cosy’- that's ALL that really matters ;)

I enjoy watching horror movies because my mother did. I started watching horror with her and 2 of my sisters when I was 12 and my first flicks were “Nightmare on Elm Streets"..
Since then, I loved watching any type of horror movies, be it asian horror or western horror movies. But when watching this type of movie, you cant watch it alone. You have to watch it with your beloved husband, bf, or your family who enjoy the same type of movies.
We went to picture this morning. The movie we watched is "Drag me to hell". My husband is the type of person who does not like to watch my type of movie. The preview I watched from the TV is really scary and I told him I want to watch it - he told me to go alone but NO WAY i am going to watch it alone?! What if I am the only one who is watching it in the cinema.. can you imagine that? After few times of begging him at last, he came with me. The best part is I can ask him what is happening on during the cover-your-eyes "Scary Parts" - so to speak. Strangely, my husband enjoyed the movie and I can see him holding his breath and sitting through 1 hour of shocks, jolts, and adrenal surges hehe..
Okay this is the synopsis of the movie:
Christine Brown is the ambitious banker, competing for a big promotion to assistant manager. Meanwhile, her love life is equally promising, since her boyfriend who adores her, is secretly planning to pop the question soon. One day, an old woman on a fixed income, enters the branch office to ask for a third extension on her overdue mortgage payments but Christina (as advised by her Manager) had rejected her extension. The old woman does not take rejection that easily and had cast a curse on Christine.
This movie is fun and its not to serious, while also trying to capture the campy fun spirit. You know what I mean when you watch this clip.

I rated it 4 Stars! Excellent and darn funny :) For sure if the DVD coming out I will go the DVD store and hire it!
