Sorry guys, been away for quite awhile because this is where I end up to. Nope, this is not a massage table - this is where I got my spine adjusted. Recently, I was suffering with a high level of pain in my neck and shoulders and sometimes I felt like I was going to pass out and never wake up. On my recent visit to a doctor landed me having my neck x-rays and the x-rays results showed me that I have abnormal curved state which growing sideways and was told that the damage have been sitting there for almost 20 years. Short SMS with mum explained to me that I had small accident when I was 2,3 years old but I was being treated and since then I never feel any pain so I never sought care. I was also told that my spine has losts its normal shape and curves and the joints in my neck and back are abnormally compressed, locked and misaligned that subluxations need to be done immediately. Dr. S said that without proper treatment, I might end up like a lot of the older women you see, walking hunched over. No Thanks! I'm no doctor, so who am I to question this. I scheduled my first adjustment and have been hooked ever since. I have no doubt that if I hadn't been going to Dr. S, I'd still be popping pain pills and walking like Igor. *shaking head*
During the adjustment, the doctor applies pressure to my bone and "unlocks" it from its improper position. The bone will then be free to align itself correctly. Then, the doctor asked me to lie down on this elaborate table with moveable head or foot rests (thats what I called ;) and because most adjusting techniques emphasize using minimal force and gentle pressure, I felt discomfort during the adjustment and heard loud popping sounds. I was told the noises I heard are just tiny pockets of gas releasing with a pop, which is completely normal. This treatment will be done until I have I fully recovered.
I guess life speeds up as you get older and the older you get, the faster time seems to go *sigh*
When I get older, losing my hair, and many years from now, will you still be my friend and talk to me?
